1982
Where It All Began
Suraj Industries was established in Kolkata with a 1,800 sq. ft. manufacturing facility for decorative ceiling fan components.
1992
Expanding our Foundation
Entered the automative components segment, and developed capabilities in switches and gear boxes which paved the way for manufacturing table fan switches and gearboxes.
1999
Entering Precision Manufacturing
Marked our entry into injection moulding to enable greater control over quality, precision, and manufacturing consistency.
2003
Assembly Operations
Began assembly operations for switches, gear boxes and table fans.
2011
Scaling Our Capabilities
A major expansion with the establishment of units in Faridabad and Kolkata with integrated facilities in injection moulding, thermal metallizing, UV metallizing and PU painting to cater to the multiplying demand of our customers.
2019
Broadening our Product Portfolio
Commenced manufacturing of axial and ventilation fans, extending our offerings beyond components into complete finished goods.
2022
Diversification of Products, Processes, and Industries
Expansion beyond fans and fan components into household goods such as casseroles, decoratives for appliances such as air conditioners and water heaters, led light reflectors, while introducing In Mould Decoration capabilities.
2023
Growing Our National Presence
Expanded operations with the launch of our Hyderabad manufacturing facility.
2025

Ventured into the personal grooming segment with the manufacturing of hair dryers.
